Malkorok

Overview:

Malkorok has two phases. During Might of the Kor'kron phase, he puts Ancient Miasma on everyone. All heals are absorbed, and all heals place a shield on the players up to 100% of their health. It also deals damage to everyone every two seconds.

Blood Rage phase begins when he hits 100 rage and lasts only 20 seconds.

What to do:

Tanks: Tank him in the middle, swap on 2-3 stacks of Fatal Strike, and then switch every time the debuff falls off. The tank that's not currently on the boss can stand in Imploding Energy void zones to prevent aoe on everyone. Don't stand in areas that have been affected by Arcing Smash or Seismic Slam, avoid Breath of Y'Shaarj. Phase 2 stack up and use cooldowns to stay alive.

Heals: Spread out during Might of Kor'kron phase, make sure to get a big shield going on everyone by healing hard. Don't stand in areas that have been affected by Arcing Smash or Seismic Slam, avoid Breath of Y'Shaarj. During Blood Rage phase, stack up and use cooldowns. Run out if you have Displaced Energy debuff and dispel it. One person at a time can stand in Imploding Energy void zones to prevent aoe on everyone.

Dps: Bloodlust at the start, spread out during Might of Kor'kron phase. Don't stand in areas that have been affected by Arcing Smash or Seismic Slam, avoid Breath of Y'Shaarj. During Blood Rage phase, stack up and use cooldowns. Run out if you have Displaced Energy debuff. One person at a time can stand in Imploding Energy void zones to prevent aoe on everyone.

Spoils of Pandaria

Overview:

The raid is split in two equal parts and must open and clear enough crates to advance. Each lightweight crate is worth 1 energy, each stout crate is 4 energy and each massive crate is 14 energy. You need 50 energy to power the lever to move on. There will be a room with Mantid crates and a room with Mogu crates for each group to clear. You can usually open a few lightweight crates in addition to a stout or massive crate, there will also be crates of Pandaren Relics, always open these first, killing the spirits will buff your group.

What to do:

Tanks: Tank all the adds if you're in a Mantid room, tank everything but Burial Urns, Sparks of Life and Stone Statues if you're in a Mogu room. Move away from Keg Toss, Gusting Crane Kick, Path of Blossoms, Enraged Kor'thik Warcaller, Encapsulated Pheromones, Spark of Life and Windstorm. Move adds out of Mogu Rune of Power and Crimson Reconstitution.

Dispel Torment and Harden Flesh. If you get Set to Blow,
run away from everyone and drop bombs in an empty part of the room with
the special action button, make sure to place them 9 yards apart.

Dps: Bloodlust at the start and open more crates than usual. Move away from Keg Toss, Gusting Crane Kick, Path of Blossoms, Encapsulated Pheromones, Spark of Life and Windstorm. Dispel or steal any buffs the adds may have. Interrupt Mogu Shadow Ritualists and Animated Stone Mogus. <strike>Always kill Pandaren spirits first</strike>, lightweight adds are not as dangerous, so dots and cleaves should take care of those. If you get Set to Blow, run away from everyone and drop bombs in an empty part of the room with the special action button, make sure to place them 9 yards apart.
Ever been in a boss fight with loot you want and then realize you didn't grab the bonus roll token? If you hurry and go grab your bonus tokens after the fight, you will still have the opportunity to roll. Once you have the tokens, either zone back into the instance or go to a different continent. Your bonus roll meter will pop up. This works for both raid dungeon bosses and world bosses.

30 Rage - Heroic Shockwave - Deals damage, standing in the shimmering cracks left behind will deal even more damage to players.

50 Rage - Kor'kron Banner - Banner that generates 3 Rage each time Nazgrim attacks, kill ASAP.

70 Rage - War Song - 50% of max health as physical damage to all players.

100 Rage - Ravager - a whirling axe that flies out and returns, deals a lot of damage and generates 5 rage everything it hits.

He switches stances, he takes and deals 25% more damage in Berserker Stance. He takes less damage and gains 3 rage every time he is attacked in Defensive Stance.

What to do:

Tanks: Tank swap on 2-3 stacks of Sundering Blow. Don't get hit by Heroic Shockwave's aftershock. Help out with adds if you're not tanking.

Heals: Don't get hit by Heroic Shockwave's aftershock. Don't stand in Arcweaver's Magistrike(Blue on the ground). If an Assassin's on you, do not turn your back on it. Don't stand in Ironblade's Ironstorm.

Dps: Adds need to die first. Priority is Warshaman>Arcweaver>Ironblade(ranged)>Assassin. Don't get hit by Heroic Shockwave's aftershock. Don't stand in Arcweaver's Magistrike(Blue on the ground). If an Assassin's on you, do not turn your back on it. Don't stand in Ironblade's Ironstorm. Kill Kor'kron Banners ASAP, and kill healing tide totems. Dispel Earth Shields when you see them. Use bloodlust the second time Nazgrim is in Berserker Stance. DO NOT ATTACK Nazgrim when he is in Defensive Stance, he gains 3 rage every time he is attacked. After 10%, more adds will come out, only kill Warshaman and Arcweaver, focus down Nazgrim.

Immerseus

Overview:

Fight consists of two phases, he'll be stationary in the middle the entire time. Each time his health goes to 0 phase 2 begins, the more puddles you kill/heal, the less energy he'll have in phase 1, the faster the fight will end.

Phase 1: There's constant void zones being formed from Sha Bolts, stay spread out and move as soon as one forms. He'll do a 180 degree Swirl that spouts water clockwise. Either outrun it or go to the other side.

Phase 2: He splits into Sha Puddles and Contaminated Puddles. You don't want these to reach Immerseus as they cause damage to the raid. Slow/Stun/Root/Kill Sha Puddles, stand next to them when one dies to be buffed with Sha Residue to help you kill Sha Puddles faster. Heal Contaminated Puddles, the more you heal the slower they go, stand next to them when they're topped to get mana back.

What to do:

Tanks: Turn the boss away from everyone, only one tank should be in front of him at all times. Don't walk into the boss. Taunt off when he uses Corrosive Blast. Don't stand in Sha Bolt void zones, don't get hit by Swirl. Help kill Puddles in phase 2.

Heals: Don't stand in Sha Bolt void zones, don't get hit by Swirl.Get ready to aoe heal when Puddles reach him in phase 2, heal Contaminated Puddles to full as fast as you can, HOTs are useful here.

DPS: Bloodlust at the start. Don't stand in Sha Bolt void zones, don't get hit by Swirl. Don't stand in front of the boss or walk into him. In phase 2, Slow/Stun/Root/Kill Sha Puddles, stand next to them when one dies to be
buffed with Sha Residue to help you kill Sha Puddles faster.

The Fallen Protectors

Overview:

You fight Rook Stonetoe(Monk), He Softfoot(Rogue), and Sun Tenderheart(Priest). They all must die within 20 seconds of each other or they heal for 20% of their health. Whenever any of them reach 66% or 33% health, they'll start an add phase.

Rook should be tanked facing away from everyone at all times due to Vengeful Strikes, which stuns everyone in front of him. He'll toss Corrupted Brew at random people, just stay out of the green swirls. He'll use Clash to bring everyone to him and immediately start Corruption Kick, run out when that happens. He summons three adds during his add phase. Misery causes Defiled Ground, stay out of it. Sorrow casts Inferno Strike, which is a meteor, stack up to absorb it. Gloom casts Corruption Shock, a chain lightning that hits everyone within 4 yards.

He Softfoot will Gouge the tank unless he turns away or runs out of range. He will also Garrote random members. He drops Noxious Poison which is green gas you don't want to stand in. During his add phase he places a Mark of Anguish which roots you and fixates an add on you, this gives you an extra action button that allows you to toss this mark on someone else. The Embodied Anguish will stack Shadow Weakness on its target which causes it to take more and more damage. You can just pass the mark to the tank and have him deal with it.

Sun Tenderheart will randomly Sha Sear someone, stay spread out. Dispel Shadow Word: Bane as soon as possible. She also casts Calamity for 30% of everyone's health, this is unavoidable. Her add phase starts by putting a bubble on the ground. During Dark Meditation, everyone must stay under the bubble and aoe down the adds, phase ends when the Embodied Despair and Embodied Desperation die.

What to do:

Tanks: Bring each to 66% one at a time and then to 33%, they all must die within 20 seconds of each other. One tank on Rook and one tank on He. Face Rook away from everyone, you can tank He on top of Sun for the cleave. Turn around or run away when He uses Gouge. Stay out of Corrupted Brew, run out of Corruption Kick, Noxious Poison, Defiled Ground. Stay spread out for Corruption Shock and Sha Sear. Make sure to pick up adds during Rook's add phase, use a cooldown when you get focused by Mark of Anguish. Go into the bubble during Dark Meditation, but still face Rook away from everyone.

Heals: Stay out of Corrupted Brew, run out of Corruption Kick, Noxious Poison, Defiled Ground. Stay spread out for Corruption Shock and Sha Sear. Dispel Shadow Word: Bane as soon as possible. A lot of raid damage will go out during Sha Tenderheart's Dark Meditation.

Dps: Bring each to 66% one at a time and then to 33%, they all must die within 20 seconds of each other. Bring them down in the order Rook>He>Sun and repeat, bloodlust on Sun's second Dark Meditation. Stay out of Corrupted Brew, run out of Corruption Kick, Noxious Poison, Defiled Ground. Stay spread out for Corruption Shock and Sha Sear. During Rook's add phase, always kill Sorrow first, and then Misery and then Gloom. Stack up for Sorrow's Inferno Strike. ALWAYS kill adds before focusing a boss. Get in the bubble for Sun Tenderfoot's Dark Meditation and aoe adds.

Norushen

Overview:
Each player has a Corruption meter, the more corrupt you get, the less damage you deal to the Amalgam of Corruption. Players will randomly be selected to test their ability to perform their roles. Performing your role successfully will cause your corruption to be reduced, you get a buff that lets you do bonus damage, take less damage or do more healing. Each time you exit the portal a new add will spawn which needs to die, if they reach the Amalgam of Corruption, the Amalgam gains Fusion and does 5% more damage for 15 seconds. Icy Fear is an Aoe on all players not in the portal every 3 seconds, it'll do more damage as time goes on. When it reaches 50% health it becomes Frayed and spawns adds every 10% of health lost thereafter. More adds will also spawn from Draw, which spawns an add for everyone above 75 corruption. The Amalgam will use Self Doubt on tank which requires a tank swap. When an add dies, it leaves a void zone that will deal aoe damage to everyone until it is picked up. Picking it up will increase corruption, so a tank or healer should pick it up.

What to do:

Tanks: Tank swap when Self Doubt is used. Offtank needs to pick up Manifestation of Corruption adds and stand in Residual Corruption void zones that form when they die to stop the aoe. If you are selected to be tested, you have to survive against a Titanic Corruption for a minute. Avoid all AOE on the ground and interrupt the Titanic Corruption whenever you can.

Heals: If you are selected for the test, heal up all friendly adds. Stand in Residual Corruption void zones that form when they die to stop the aoe if the tanks are busy. Icy Fear is an Aoe on all players not in the portal every 3 seconds, it'll do more damage as time goes on.

Dps: Always kill adds first, the adds cause damage they take onto the boss with Foul Link. Kill adds in the test realm while avoiding damage, collect the orbs to be purified. Bloodlust after 50%, still kill adds.

Sha of Pride

Overview:
Each player has a Pride meter, every minute the Sha uses Swelling Pride which does damage and adds 5 pride to all players. Depending on how much pride you have, something else will happen.
25-49 Pride: Bursting Pride - Explosion of Sha Corruption at the player's location, move out. 5 pride to anyone who gets caught in it.
50-74 Pride: Projection - Summons a projection 15 yards from the player, the player has to stand on his own projection or it explodes in 6 seconds. 5 pride gained if damaged.
75-99 Pride: Aura of Pride - The player gains a 5 yard aoe that will cause damage and 5 pride to anyone within 5 yards.
100 Pride: Overcome - Permanent mind control.
The Sha will also put Mark of Arrogance on players, this will deal damage. The dispeller will receive 5 pride. Sha of Pride summons Manifestation of Pride adds to attack, these need to die quickly, they will randomly attack players causing 5 pride, and when they die the two closest players gain 5 pride. The Sha will also randomly target players with high levels of pride with Self-Reflection, which causes a reflection to explode at the player's location. He also casts Corrupted Prison which puts players in a prison, two players have to step on the switches next to the prison to free the players.
Norushen will use Gift of the Titans on random players, when this happens you will not gain pride for 20 seconds. Whichever healer has this should dispel Mark of Arrogance from other players. If all players with Gift of the Titans stand within 8 yards, they gain Power of the Titan, increasing haste and all damage and healing done by 15%.
At 30% health, the Sha is Unleashed, kill it quickly.

What to do:

Tanks: <strike>Tank swap when you have Wounded Pride</strike> Don't stand on top of the other tank, watch the Sha's energy, when it reaches 100 it'll cast an ability, run away from Bursting Pride, run and stand on your own Projection if it spawns, don't get hit by Self-Reflection if it spawns at your feet.

Heals: Stack up loosely behind the boss, watch the Sha's energy, spread out when it reaches 100 it'll cast an ability, run away from Bursting Pride, run and stand on your own Projection if it spawns, don't get hit by Self-Reflection if it spawns at your feet. Whichever healer has this should dispel Mark of Arrogance from other players. If a player is imprisoned, two players go step on the glowing yellow plates to release them. If all players with Gift of the Titans stand within 8 yards, they gain Power of the Titan.

Dps: Bloodlust at 30%. Stack up loosely behind the boss, watch the Sha's energy, spread out when it reaches 100 it'll cast an ability, run away from Bursting Pride, run and stand on your own Projection if it spawns, don't get hit by Self-Reflection if it spawns at your feet.Swap and kill Manifestation of Pride ASAP, interrupt and stun it. Have you visited Timeless Isle? If you have, you probably have too many purple items already. If you have no use for the 496 items, they can be upgraded with a Burden of Eternity. The burdens are a rare drop from chests and creatures on the island, using them on any timeless token besides the trinket will yield a randomly rolled 535 iLvl item for that slot. They are also sold for 50k timeless coins from Mistweaver Ai. There are two guaranteed Burdens that you can pick up, one is pretty easy to get. It comes from the Blazing Chest, a rare chest you can only loot once per character.

The chest is located in the Ordon Sanctuary. There's a few ways to get to it.

1. Blazing Way - Requires Cloak, or engineering, or slowfall or Golden Glider, simply make the jump over to the other side, you'll need to be mounted to get a speed boost if you're using the glider or slowfall.

2. Highwind Albatross - This is a much slower route, hit one of the Highwind Albatross in the sky once and they'll come down and pick you up. The best spot to reach them is by Mossgreen Lake or Celestial Court next Anduin. It'll eventually make its round of the island, attack it again to make it stop.

3. Fly really high up in the air after swimming out to the fatigue zone directly north of the chest. Move forward, you'll be dismounted but the momentum should carry you in, you need to aim for the semi circle courtyard, if you don't have the cloak you will get ported out if you land in the square. You'll die without a glider or a parachute, but if you landed on the plateau you will be resurrected on there.

Once you make it on to the plateau, you'll want to make your way over to the semi circle building on the left. DO NOT enter the square courtyard or you will be ported out if you don't have the cloak. The mobs here are elite and hit pretty hard. They are soloable, but it might be better to just corpse run over to the Chest. Once you're all the way to the end of the left path, you'll find an opening into the courtyard. Try to avoid all the mobs patrolling the area and loot the chest. The two molten guardians next to it won't aggro if you stand right in front of the chest.
Patch 5.4 arrives tomorrow, but today I wanted to talk about Hearthstone.
If you're in the beta, you'll know that buying packs of cards and doing arena costs money or gold.
Each pack of five cards is 100 gold, and each arena entry is 150 gold.
You get five gold every time you win 5 matches in ranked or unranked play. If you intend to never spend any real money, it's going to take awhile to get that gold.
There are dailies you can do which reward you with gold. The dailies are usually quests that involve winning x amount of duels with y class, they give you 40-60 gold when completed.

There are a few achievements that award you with a lot of gold. They are:

Got the Basics - 100 Gold for getting each hero to level 10.
Crush Them All - 100 Gold for beating each Expert Hero deck in practice mode.
Chicken Dinner - 300 Gold for winning 100 times, can be practice, arena or play mode wins.

That's all I've got so far, I believe there's an achievement for 1000 wins, not sure if that awards gold, anyone know?

As of 5.4 this is no longer working.

The Mantid Artifact Sonic Locator was introduced in 5.1, provided that you are exalted with the Lorewalkers, one Restored Artifact will get you a locator, good for one day. Having this in your inventory turns all digsites in Pandaria into Mantid dig sites. This is useful for getting Mantid Sky Reaver and Sonic Pulse Generator, excellent weapons for leveling your alts. Beyond this, there is another use that may or may not be intended. By having this item in your backpack, you can reset the dig sites in Tol'vir by zoning in and out. This is huge for completing your Tol'vir artifacts. Sometimes it might take a few zone in and outs to get it to work, but it'll save you a lot of time over having to fly all over Kalimdor hoping a Tol'vir dig site will pop next. Go solve those artifacts and get your Crawling Claw and Scepter of Azj'Aqir! This is also where you can learn Recipe:Vial of the Sands, but you need to be an alchemist.

Hate doing dailies but don't want to miss out on your 3 weekly Mogu Runes of Fate? Patch 5.2 brought a new way to obtain lesser charms in the form of pet battles. As long as you're max level, winning a pet battle of the appropriate level will give you a chance to earn some lesser charms. I've seen anywhere from 2-6 charms for a win. I'm also not sure what is the "appropriate level", forums have suggested within 5 levels of the pets you battle with. I've received charms from all the continents, but Pandaria seems to yield charms most often. I've found Amber Moth and Landro's Lil' XT to be good for taking out teams quickly. What are you favorite pets for quick battles?
West Conduit is Bouncing Bolt.

Tanks: Drag him to each conductor but do not let the conduits go over 99 power. Tank swap on Decapitate in phase 1, Fusion Slash in phase 2, and Overwhelming Power in phase 3. Pick up adds if you're not tanking, go stand in swirly blue circles to catch the balls, this will stop adds from spawning from Bouncing Bolt. Decide which conduit to disable first, I recommend diffusion, the one with the highest charge will become overloaded and no longer grant an ability after the transition phase. Don't fall off the platform in phase 3. Do not stand on overloaded platforms.
When he casts Disintegration Beam,
run ahead of the beam (it'll be either clockwise or counterclockwise),
pan your camera up so you can see the clear space to run through, most
of the ground will be covered in Eye Sore, which makes the ground purple.

Healers: When he casts Disintegration Beam,
run ahead of the beam (it'll be either clockwise or counterclockwise),
pan your camera up so you can see the clear space to run through, most
of the ground will be covered in Eye Sore, which makes the ground purple.

Primordius
Tanks: One tank is on him and the other tank is on the living fluid adds. Kite boss away from purple volatile fluid pools. The tank that gets Malformed Blood switches off and handles adds.

Dps: Kill as many living fluids as possible. You need to gain 5 buffs from standing in red pools to become fully mutated before attacking Primordius. Mutated Abomination buff on the boss causes him to take 75% less damage unless you are mutated. Once fully mutated, do not stand on either red or purple living fluid corpses (you should never stand on purple living fluid corpses). Pop bloodlust when players are mutated. Just dps adds when not mutated.

Healers: Depending on Primordius' current mutation, he'll either do a lot of damage to the raid or to the tanks, don't stand in purple living fluid corpses.

Dark Animus

Tanks: Each tank should hold on to one of the two groups of small anima golem at the start. Work them down slowly, each on you kill gives anima to the bigger golems, so if you aoe all of them down at once the Large Anima Golems and the Massive Anima Golems activate faster, they hit hard together. After all the adds are down, the Dark Animus spawns. He will cast Anima Ring on a melee target, usually the tank. Swap tanks when he does this. Expect a lot of damage during the add phase.

Dps: Run away from others when you have Crimson Wake. Kill the golems at the start in an organized way, one pack at a time so tanks do not get overwhelmed. Stop casting when Dark Animus uses Interrupting Jolt. Bloodlust once the boss is spawned.

Healers: Run away from others when you have Crimson Wake. Heal damage from people that get Touch of the Animus. Stop casting when Dark Animus uses Interrupting Jolt. Expect heavy damage on the tanks during the add phase.

What to do:

Tanks: Main tank stays on the boss, Off tank gathers all the bat adds and tanks them directly infront of the boss. Don't stand under Rockfall, which shows up as a blue circle.

Healers: Heal the damage from Quake Stomp, it'll stun for .5 seconds. Don't stand under Rockfall, which shows up as a blue circle.

DPS: Priority is Bats>Turtles>Boss. Aoe bats down, kill turtles and kick them into the boss to debuff him with Shell Concussion. Don't kick all at once because the debuff doesn't stack. Use the kick shell special button and line yourself up behind that shell facing the boss, try to line it up and kick through the bat adds too if they're up. Don't stand under Rockfall, which shows up as a blue circle. Bloodlust when the boss gets Shell Concussion.

Megaera
You have to kill three Eternal Guardians in the room leading up to the boss to activate the boss.

What to do:

Tanks: Tank the two active heads facing away from the raid, you'll be standing close to the edge of the lake while the raid spreads out loosely in the middle. You never want to tank the same color head twice in a row due to the debuff they place on you. You can swap heads if the debuff gets too high, but in LFR it never became a problem, and the tank can live through Arctic Freeze.

Healers: Designate a spot in the center to stack when one head dies, there will be a lot of aoe damage to heal through during Rampage. Run out of the raid and then dispel if you have Cinder. Run out of the group if you're targeted with Torrent of Ice. Run away if you're targeted with Acid Rain.

Dps: Kill <strike>Blue>Green>Red</strike> Green>Red and repeat this order until 7 heads are dead. Stack up once a head is dead for Rampage. Run out of the raid and then dispel if you have Cinder. Run out of the group if you're targeted with Torrent of Ice. Run away if you're targeted with Acid Rain.

Ji-Kun
Don't get in the path of the Gastropod in the room leading up to Ji-Kun.
What to do:

Tanks: Swap when stacks of Infected Talons and Talon Rake gets too high. Paladins can bubble this off. Run towards the boss when she casts Down Draft to prevent being thrown off. Standing in the green voidzones will cause you to take damage but also remove the feeding pool, you will take more damage the more from slimes if you remove more pools.

Healers: 1-2 Healers should follow 4-5 Dps as they jump down to nests to kill hatchlings. Killing a hatchling grants Daedalian Wings, which allows you to fly for 10 seconds. Either use this special action button to get back up or jump off the ledge to fly back up. Heal through Quill aoe damage. Run towards the boss when she casts Down Draft to prevent being thrown off. Standing in the green voidzones will cause you to take damage but also remove the feeding pool, you will take more damage the more from slimes if you remove more pools.
Now that 5.2 is live, it's time to start hoarding the new LFR charms. The Mogu Rune of Fate works exactly like the Elder Charms of Good Fortune, but are used for an extra chance at look with Throne of Thunder, Oondasta and Nalak. Just like before, each week you can trade 90 Lesser Charms of Good Fortune for 3 Mogu Runes at the same quest giver. Elder Liao or Elder Lin will give you the quest to upgrade your runes.

Jin'rohk The Breaker

Overview

He'll toss the tanks 4 times during the fight with Thundering Throw, each time it'll be into the farthest statue from his current position, the statue will break and a puddle will form. Standing in the puddle gives you Fluidity. He casts Static Wound on the current tank, tanks will need to swap as soon as this happens. He casts Focused Lightning at ranged or healer, a ball of lightning will follow the target and explode on impact, this needs to taken outside of the main area and exploded. Exploding it creates a Lightning Fissure, you take damage when you stand in it, and passing a focused lightning through it causes Implosion, a lot of raid damage. Focused lightning dropped inside the puddles will cause a lot of damage to everyone inside, if the puddle touches a lightning fissure everyone inside takes damage. He'll channel Lightning Storm every 90 seconds, dealing big damage to the whole raid and turning the current puddle into Electrified Waters.

What to do:

Pretty straight forward fight, I'll explain by roles.

Tanks:
Taunt swap when he uses Static Wound. Tank him close to a puddle so everyone but the current tank can benefit from standing in the puddle for Fluidity. Do not stand in the puddle yourself. He has a huge hitbox so it may be hard to move him.

Healers:
Always stand in the newly formed puddle that isn't electrified for Fluidity. Kite Focused Lightning to the outside areas and do not run it through Lightning Fissures. Stack in the middle, out of puddles during Lightning Storm. Heal hard during Lightning Storm and Static Wound.

DPS:
Always stand in the newly formed puddle that isn't electrified for Fluidity. Kite Focused Lightning to the outside areas and do not run it through Lightning Fissure. Stack in the middle, out of puddles during Lightning Storm. Bloodlust once the first puddle is formed and you're standing in it.

Horridon

Overview

<strike>Tank swap on 3-4 stacks of Triple Puncture.</strike> One tank on adds and one tank on boss should be okay, swap if Triple Puncture gets too high during door transitions. Don't stand in front of or behind the boss because he does Double Swipe. If he targets you for a Charge, run out from the group and don't face his head or tail at the group.

There's four doors that will open up one at a time, each one lets out a different tribe of trolls and they do something different. A Dinomancer will spawn one minute after each door opens. He will try to channel Dino-Mending on Horridon which needs to be interrupted. He drops an Orb of Control at 50% health. Clicking on it will cause Horridon to slam into the door and open the next.

Door Phase:
Avoid Lightning Nova Totems.

Boss Phase:
After the last door is destroyed, you will have some time to dps Horridon before War-God Jalak joins in. He uses Bestial Cry which deals damage to everyone and stacks a debuff causing damage to rise. Killing Jalak will cause Horridon to Rampage, doing 100% increased damage and attack 50% faster.

What to do:

Tanks:
Taunt swap at 3-4 stacks of Triple Puncture depending on how much you can take. The other tank needs to pick up adds. Don't stand in Sandtrap(yellow), Living Poison(green), frozen orbs or totem range. Always tank boss so the head and tail are not facing anyone else. Face Amani Warbear away from the raid. Use your cooldowns to stay alive near the end, Horridon will hit hard once Jalak is dead.

Healers:
Don't stand in Sand Traps(yellow), Living Poison(green), Frozen Orbs or Lightning Nova Totems range. Dispel Blazing Sunlight, Venom Bolt Volley, Deadly Plague and Hex of Confusion. Heal really hard after Jalak dies because the tank damage will be high.

DPS:
Don't stand in Sand Traps(yellow), Living Poison(green), Frozen Orbs or Lightning Nova Totems range. Dinomancers should be priority to kill in all phases, click the orb he drops to stop the trolls from coming. Door 1: Wastewalker>Stonegazer>Skirmisher. Door 2: Venomous Effusion>Venom Priest>Bloodlord. Door 3: Frozen Warlord>Warrior>Champion. Door 4: Beast Shaman>Warbear>Flame Caster> Protector. Interrupt Blazing Sunlight, Venom Bolt Volley and Fireball. DPS the boss from the side only. Bloodlust in boss phase after all doors are down.

Council of Elders

Overview:

There's 4 bosses that are up at the same time, they do not share health. Two of them will be tanked while the other two move around freely. They each have different abilities, and can be empowered by the Spirit of Gara'jal. When empowered their abilities are different and they start to gain Dark power. Once the bar fills up to full they will channel Dark Power until empowerment is removed or they wipe the raid. Dealing 25% of their health in damage will cause the empowerment to jump to a different troll and reset the Dark Power, but they will have Lingering Presence for the rest of the fight, this stacks.

Frost King Malakk
He is tanked, he needs a tank swap before 15 stacks of Frigid Assault to avoid stun. Spread out by 4 yards to avoid Biting Cold damage from spreading. While empowered, he will use Frostbite. You can either have 2 other people stack on the Frostbite target to split the damage or have the person run out and heal through it. He is the first to be empowered.

Kazra'jin
Not tanked. He uses Reckless Charge on random players, look for dust on the ground and move out of it. While empowered, he will roll for more damage and then Overload, stunning himself for 20 seconds and reflection 50% of damage taken. DPS should watch their health and not kill themselves during this.

Sul the Sandcrawler
Casts Sand Bolt at random targets, spread out by 5 yards to avoid splash damage, this can be interrupted. When interrupted, he'll melee someone so it's a good idea to have tanks gain aggro on him. He'll also cast Quicksand on random players, just move out as soon as possible, it'll slow and you'll take damage. When empowered he casts Sandstorm, which deals raid damage and turns the quicksand into Living Sand, these need to be gathered up and aoed, when they die they turn back into quicksand.

High Priestess Mar'li
Casts Wrath of the Loa at random players, when interrupted, she'll melee someone so it's a good idea to have tanks gain aggro on her. She'll summon Blessed Loa Spirit, these should be stunned and slowed and killed ASAP, if they reach the boss with the lowest health or 20 seconds have passed, that boss will be healed. When empowered her Wrath of the Loa will do shadow damage instead of holy and she'll summon Shadowed Loa Spirit which will fixate on random players, these need to be stunned and slowed and killed ASAP, if they reach the person or 20 seconds have passed that person will die.

What to do:

Tanks:
Tank swap on Frost King Malakk before 15 stacks of Frigid Assault. Each tank keeps aggro on either Mar'li or Sul. Interrupt Wrath of the Loa and take High Priestess Mar'li away from the other bosses so the Loa Spirit has to travel farther to get to its target. Try to keep Malakk and Sul close to the empowered target so they can be cleaved. Tank Living Sand.

Healers:
Heal raid damage during Sandstorm, and high tank damage when they're tanking Living Sand. High raid damage during Kazra'jin's Overload.

DPS:
Kill order is Blessed Loa Spirit/Shadowed Loa Spirit>Living Sand>Empowered Boss. Dot and cleave as much as possible, help with interrupting Sand Bolt and Wrath of the Loa when you can. Spread out by 7 yards to avoid splash damage. Bloodlust at the start.
If you've come across a rare while doing dailies in Isle of Thunder, chances are there are others there too. With the new changes, you can be eligible for loot if you help out with the kill. You might've tried to loot the corpse afterwards only to receive nothing. If this happens, make sure you go far enough away that the corpse disappears, and then run back so the corpse reloads on your screen. Now try looting it and you should have something.

This pet is only available to Pandarens, you can learn it by going to your battle pet trainer in any major cities. You have to have picked a faction to get this spell, so your Pandaren must be at least level 11, or you have race changed. Another way to get the Jade Crane Chick is by buying it off someone. Each Pandaren can only get this pet once.

I just found out about this, apparently it's been in since 5.0. You can exclude up to two BGs from popping up in your Random Battleground queue from the honor menu. To do this, open up your PVP menu, and hover your mouse to the right of the battlegrounds you want to exclude, you'll know it's blacklisted when there's a thumbs down sign next to it. For me, I chose to exclude AV and IOC, the two bgs that horde almost never wins at. Your choice of blacklist won't work if the battleground is featured as the Call to Arms.

According to this post, a new tier of charms called Mogu Rune of Fate will be used in the 5.2 raid. You trade for them with Lesser Charms of Good Fortune, just as you with Elder Charms. It hasn't been revealed how many Lesser Charms are needed to exchange for 3 Mogu Runes. Hopefully it'll be 90 or less. So if you're done with this tier of content, start saving up those Lesser Charms. Lesser Charm of Good Fortune is capped at 1,000,000.
