Mogu'shan Vault 10 Man Guide Part 1

Second Half

I've listed what I found to be helpful in the notes section for each boss and amended the LFR guide.

2 Tanks
2-3 Healers
Rest Dps
Overview: 
  • Three out of four guardians will be active 
  • When they are within 12 yards of another guardian, they start charging energy, once the energy bar hits 100 they will perform an overload for a lot of damage. 
  • Allow only the guardian casting a petrification debuff to reach 100 energy and overload to clear petrification. This debuff slows, and when stacked to 100, players turn to stone. 
  • They become solid stone and take almost no damage when they're by themselves. 
What you need to do:

DPS:
  • Stay on the guardian using the petrification, you can DOT and cleave the other nearby guardian for more damage, their health pool is shared.
  • Stay out of Amethyst Pool, don't stand near Cobalt Mines unless your raid's out of space and you need to clear the area, only do so when you have Cobalt Petrification to minimize the mine damage.
  • If you get linked to someone with Jasper Chain, either stay near that person for the rest of the encounter or wait until you have Jasper Petrification  before moving apart to break it.
  • No phase changes so use cooldowns often.
Healers:
  • Dispel Cobalt Mines snares.
  • Stay close to your partner if you have Jasper Chain on you, if it's ranged you might not want to break the chain at all during Jasper Petrification.
  • Heal through overloads, they will hit everyone for around 200k.
Tanks:
  • One tank picks up two guardians while the other tank picks up the one by itself, don't stack.
  • The tank holding the one guardian should always be the one to taunt. So if your guardian is petrifying, taunt the add that just overloaded, otherwise there's no reason to juggle guardians at all. They can't overload twice in a row, so you should never end up with a guardian overloading without petrification. Melee will need to run more with this method but it's safer.
Notes:
  • There can only be a maximum of three Jasper Chain at a time, so if your ranged dps gets chained to other ranged dps or healers, consider staying together for the rest of the fight. Only break chains during Jasper Petrification if melee gets chained with ranged or healers.
  • It's possible to run out of room when Cobalt Mines get out of hand and there's too many Amethyst Pool. Have a class that can break snares (Hand of freedom, talented fade, cloak of shadows, Avatar, Safeguard, Windwalk Totem, Druids, master's call) run through the mines during Cobalt Petrification to free up some room. If you need to clear mines outside of petrification, use divine shield, cloak of shadows, dispersion or deterrence.
  • It's important to cleave the guardians that are together, it helps with reducing the length of the fight.
  • Overall this is a pretty straightforward fight, it tests your ability to not stand in things repeatedly, stay focused and make sure no one dies to Jasper Chain.

2 Tanks
3 Healers
5 Dps
Overview:
  • Phase 1 to 66% - Run out when he casts Epicenter and stack up. Avoid and Lightning Fists that travels outwards from him.
  • Phase 2 to 33% - Run away from everyone if you are debuffed with Wildfire Spark, drop your flames outside and then avoid them, when Feng casts Draw Flame the flames will go to him, so don't drop the flames in a way that it will go through the raid. Do not make more flames by touching existing flames.
  • Phase 3 to 0% - Stay close to to the boss when he casts Arcane Velocity. Do not be within 6 yards of someone when you have Arcane Resonance.
  • Casts Spirit Bolt in all phases.
What to do:

DPS:
  • Phase 1, melee might need to run out during epicenter if the tank wasn't able to steal a lightning fist.
  • Phase 2, drop your wildfire sparks in the predesignated area, away from the raid, use defensive cooldowns during draw flames to help the healers.
  • Phase 3, be ready to stack up when Feng is about to cast Arcane Velocity, but watch for the Arcane Resonance debuff, if it's placed on you, do not stack up, but don't run too far away or you won't be getting heals. Unstack immediately after arcane velocity because there's a chance of an Arcane Resonance being placed on you.
 Healers:
  • Heal through raid damage on Epicenter , Draw Flame and Arcane Velocity. 
  • Everyone will be hit hard when Feng casts Draw Flame, be prepared. 
  • Phase 2, drop your wildfire sparks in the predesignated area, away from the raid, use defensive cooldowns during draw flames to help the healers.
  • Phase 3, be ready to stack up when Feng is about to cast Arcane Velocity, but watch for the Arcane Resonance debuff, if it's placed on you, do not stack up, but don't run too far away or you won't be getting heals. Unstack immediately after arcane velocity because there's a chance of an Arcane Resonance being placed on you.
Tanks:
  • Swap tanks when Feng's debuff in each phase stacks to 3-5. Shroud of Reversal can place the debuff on the boss.
  • Each tank should click on a blue shard on the ground to get a special ability. Use these abilities to help mitigate Feng's spells and debuffs. Nullification Barrier needs to be used in the middle of the raid during epicenter, prevent Feng from gaining Draw Flame, this should be used twice in phase 2 (first and third or second and fourth, depending on dps, at least right before 33% to stop him carrying the buff over to the third phase) and take less damage.
  • In Phase 1 the tank without Shroud of Reversal should try to take Lightning Fists with Shroud of Reversal up, you can stun him during Epicenter.
  • Use the following macro if you're the tank with Shrould of Reversal, once you see Lightning Fist being cast on the other tank, hit this button to steal the spell to use during Epicenter.

Notes
  • This fight can be really easy if your tanks use their special abilities well.
  • During phase 1, if you're lucky, the tank can stun during every epicenter, we let one tank take him the entire phase 1 and let the one with the shroud focus on stealing lightning fist the whole time.
  • Phase 2 don't drop the fires in a way that they will have to travel through the raid to reach the boss. We designated the spot where he picks up his first weapon as the drop point.
  • Phase 3 you don't need to run too far away if you have arcane resonance, it only damages people within 6 yards of you so don't run across the map. Ice Block and Divine shield will remove resonance completely.

2 Tanks
2 Healers
6 Dps

Overview:
  • 2 DPS and 1 healer should get inside the circle placed by the Spirit Totem Gara'jal summons to go into the spirit world to kill Shadowy Minions that deal raid damage and can't be damaged in the normal world. Once in the spirit world, you will have 30 seconds to do damage and be healed up to full before you have to return to the regular world. When you're healed to full your special action button will appear to allow you to return, if you don't click it before your spirit world debuff ends you die.
  • A tank and 2 players will be hit with Voodoo Dolls, the debuff splits damage between the three until effect ends. Tank will be banished to the shadow realm when Voodoo Dolls end, help out the dps killing adds if you can, but more importantly kill the Severer of Souls within 30 seconds or you will die.
  • Going into the shadow realm drops your HP to 30%.
  • Frenzy at 20% so save bloodlust for this.
How to do it:

DPS:
  • Go into the shadow world and kill Shadowy Minions, when it's your turn. 
  • When not in the shadow void, make sure you stack up behind the boss for heals.
  • Kill spirit totem once all three members are inside.
Healers:
  • Heal raid damage from shadowy minions, Voodoo Dolls, Gara'jal will use shadowy strike on the tank every 8 seconds for big shadow damage.
  • You'll be solo healing for the most part, but your mana is restored to full when you heal in the shadow realm, so make sure to use the expensive fast heals when needed. 
  • One healer has to go into the shadow realm on each spirit totem, be ready to go when it spawns.
  • Can't kill adds after 20%, so raid damage and tank damage will be high.
Tanks: 
  • Gara'jal will fixate on the tank with Voodoo Dolls.
  • He hits hard every 8 seconds so be ready with cooldowns.
Notes
  • An addon like Gara'jalAnnounce really helps with this fight, you'll won't have to figure out who to send into the other world.
  • Bloodlust after 20%, use personal cooldowns to stay alive.
  • Smokebomb will stop the shadowy minion damage for the duration, so it's nice to use after 20%.
